Applicants may be based in countries classified as having low audiovisual capacity under the Creative Europe MEDIA framework, including both Group A and Group B countries.

Priority may also be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need, including a household income below 75% of the national median.

The programme also supports under-represented groups, including women in technology, ethnic minorities, LGBTQIA+ participants and persons with disabilities.

Applicants from other eligible Creative Europe countries may also be considered where no national scholarship schemes exist for this type of MEDIA training.
